Delicious high protein tuna casserole with a bread crumb butter crust!

Cook the noodles in salted water for 1–2 minutes less than the package directions (al dente).
Before draining, scoop out 1 cup of the hot pasta water. Drain the noodles.
In a 9x13 baking dish, whisk the 2 cans of soup with ½ cup to 1 cup of the pasta water until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold the tuna and cooked noodles into the sauce. If using peas or spices, add them now. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs and melted butter. Use your fingers to sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top, using a fork to 'rake' it into any bald spots.
Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes. For the perfect finish, turn the oven to Broil for the last 2 minutes to turn the breadcrumbs golden brown (watch closely!).
Let the dish sit for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken and 'set'.
